Hi all! Looking for identification help. Bought white clover seed from Walmart. seeded fresh topsoil on top of my red clay in front of my house. A lot of this is growing, and I’m not sure it’s the white clover. Any thoughts?
Region: NE Georgia; each picture is a slightly more zoomed version of the previous. Shows some of the same plant (I think) growing alongside newer sprouts.

Kinda looks like Japanese stiltgrass. For sure not clover.
Edit: could be crabgrass too.

Could also be knotgrass. I did the same and have a bunch of it growing as well. I’ll keep you updated

It looks like annual crabgrass to me. I grew a whole lawn of this stuff one year. It was the year I tried to plant a lawn in the spring. Now I always plant in the fall. (I’m in DFW.)
