Kansas City, Missouri area. Hello, if anyone is familiar with ground plants could you please offer a suggestion for how natural our lawn is? We have purple clovers then these yellow little flowers all over the yard. We would like to maintain a healthy mixed yard as our landscaping is very natural.

Not sure where you are but the little yellow flowers are probably the wood sorrel species *Oxalis dillenii* or *Oxalis stricta*, which are native to the eastern U.S. and nearby places. The plants with the round to heart shaped leaves are probably common blue violets *Viola sororia*.

Native plants are VERY local. Ask a local expert or say where you are.
