Thought I solved the problem then woke up to this. Genuinely horrified. πππ
All my plants only get mosquito dunk water.
I just sprayed super saturated mosquito dunk water on the vft because it was crawling with bugs, so that's why it's wet. I only bottom water otherwise.
That’s to aggressive to be sprayed on directly, try to wash the plant, it’ll loose the leaves Nov anyways but a piece of root can reshoot a new plant

Takes a couple of weeks for mosquito dunks to work. It only kills the larva, so any adult flies will live their whole lifespan. Just leave a dunk in the plant water tray

Get some pings and sundews. I purposely try to get gnats and fruit flies but I have too many pings I kill them all quickly.

You’ll laugh, but to drive off the adults, get a roll of generic dryer sheets and put one sheet right next to the plants. One of the active ingredients, linalool, acts like bear spray and drives them off. Just switch out the dryer sheet every week, and since the adults only live for a couple of days, that should help break their life cycle.

I pour through when I’m watering with treated water, seems to work better than bottom watering.

Whatever those arthropods are, they are very small⦠can you ID them?

BTI/mosquito dunks are the easiest and most effective solution. Itβs the cheat code.
