Built my own sifting boxes.

1/2” sifted

1/4” sifted

How’s it look?

Honestly the most lazy composting I could do. I dig a hole and fill it with kitchen and yard scraps. Leave the top open so the rain can keep the goods moist. Turn every few weeks. Harvest.

We have the same set-up. I just dug a hole in the backyard, fill it with food waste every evening then topped it with dried leaves to avoid the smell.

However, i do not turn it, i am too lazy for it lol. I just keep on piling them up until it is level with the ground then i top it with soil to seal it, then just forget about it for 3-4 months.
