Newbie here. I’ve roughly followed some tips from this sub, but there’s plenty of space to learn. I set up a 3 bay system with heat treated pallets. I’d approximate my pile is 40% wood chips, 30% grass clippings, 20% food scraps, and 10% wood stove ash. Second pic shows my bay 2 pile that’s been turned once and is about 6 months old.
