“I spent all this time perfecting my shoebox greenhouses for the Campari and Yellow Bell tomatoes, but nature had a different plan!
I have a ‘Melting Pot’ sitting in the window—just a random pot of dirt with a celery stalk—that I honestly thought I overheated. A few weeks later? It’s exploding with life. I’ve got two mystery tomatoes, garlic, and a cucumber plant all fighting for space, and get this: they are ALREADY bigger than my greenhouse starts!
Sometimes the ‘Inner City Homestead’ teaches you to just get out of the way and let the plants do their thing.
