My fiddle leaf arrived bent and somewhat brown underneath the top leaves. I've put it in a room that gets fairly significant light from west and south facing windows, hoping sunlight and water would help it straighten out and regain normal color. So far, nothing.

Should I add support to help it straighten out or just trim the top bent portion?

Any advice is appreciated.

  1. It may take a while to unfold, because they do move towards the light. If they end up getting bad or there’s no new growth, then I’d cut those leaves off covering the top of the trunk/stem where new leaves form so the tree can push out new growth.
