I’ve had this plant for 7 years. It was a gift after my dog died and originally came with blooms. I’ve held onto it because I’m sentimental, but it’s never bloomed for me—until now! I’d like advice on how to keep the good times rolling. What changed before the bloom: 1. I was out of town for 3½ weeks so it wasn’t getting a daily disappointed stare, 2. the A/C wasn’t running (Texas, so A/C all day usually, 3. no one was taking a daily bath &/or shower.

Sorry for the crispy leaves. That’s from earlier when I tried moving it closer to the window.

Any advice is much appreciated.
