My husband and I recently finished building my greenhouse. I had a smaller kit greenhouse for 3 years but upgraded to this and love it! I do have a mini split unit for heat and cooling but am wondering if I should had a sunshade over the roof when it gets in the 90° temps. We own a small flower farm and are located in East Tennessee. The roof panels are Smoke but I don’t think it will be enough once we get to July & August. My plants will be out and planted by then but I do start snapdragons in the summer to plant in the fall.

This is lovely! Congratulations! I just got my first greenhouse end of last year, replacing my rack of 24 trays in the kitchen. I also have a small flower stand to sell flowers for a charity near and dear to my heart. It’s brought me so much joy! Spent most of the rainy day yesterday in there transplanting and planting more seeds! ❤️

P.S. The snaps you plant in the fall make it through the winter? What zone are you? I’m 7A and my snaps are hit or miss if they survive the winters here. But I always plant them in the spring.

Ma’am, that is not a greenhouse that is a greenhome

I would definitely do the shade cloth. It will get very hot in the summer.

Love your green house! What size and model is it? I’m in western North Carolina and an aspiring flower farmer.
