Ive got 3 a little smaller than that in the bed I plant my cucumbers.

I know its 3 because my oldest dog insists on “checking on them” twice a week. Lol. Hopefully they are gone before I put the plants in

Gonna have to grow more greens for the new member of your family

Good luck with your plant tops. For me it’s been beans, young okra, and sweet potatoes that have taken the most damage in the past.

It’s not ready to eat yet, you picked it too soon. It needed a few more weeks.

I saw one running through my flower beds. I plant rabbit resistant flowers but that one seemed not to care and was munching my wintersown perennials I sowed. I think the bunny stopped since they may have tasted bad. Most I sowed are not safe to eat.

There’s a big dig under my shed. I know what’s going on.

    “Whaaa? You mind, it’s a garden” 🥕

God I hate these cute demons. So cute you don’t want anything to hurt them. So destructive they can ruin an entire garden. My solution? I got a cat. First year was a messy fluffle of sadness. After that, they don’t show up. No more dead bunnies and no more destroyed cabbage and broccoli. Problem solved. Now I just need a solution for Japanese beetles. Those little green monsters.

There were 4 in my yard this morning 😭

My bunnies mostly eat grass, clover, and literally the bark off the bush and tree pruning I leave out. Then they leave little compost nuggets in my garden. I like the buns, we have a good system.

I left my few house open a few minutes yesterday and when I came back one was at the door about to go in

    Per Gemini:
“To properly hold a rabbit, always support its hindquarters and chest to make it feel secure, as they are prey animals that panic when feeling unsupported. Scoop them up by placing one hand under the chest/armpits and the other under the rump, holding them firmly against your body, upright, and never by their ears.”

I miss my little garden pal.

I think it was one my dog had cornered when it was just a little baby, and I picked him up and put him in my fenced chaos garden, and I assume he grew up in those short months and stuck around. He was quite comfortable being pretty close to me, and would come hang just a couple feet away while I took care of my domestic rabbits. Was eventually taken by a hawk or owl, but that’s the way of the tiny wild things. I just try to grow extra for when they come around. I have a whole garden of perennial, medicinal herbs outside my garden, for their benefit.
