Frogs help

I’m new to collecting the string plants, I love them all dearly, but this froggy fella has given me mixed signals. I’ve been having trouble finding a good watering schedule for it, as it seems to dry out quickly but not like frequent waterings if that makes any sense. Maybe there’s something I’m missing. The fertilizer in the back is what I use for most of my plants and it works well for me. I use it diluted every other water with the frogs, and it’s given me some baby frogs, but not a whole lot of growth. It looks the same as it did six months ago, maybe less leaves actually. I’d like to mention that I found some of that fabric they put starters in, in there too. Could that pose a problem? I’d really appreciate some help to get it thriving!
