Hi Steph. Lovely! My Sarah Bernhardt peony will be blooming for the first time this year and I was hoping for at least 2 blooms? Well today I counted 10!! Can you believe it! I’m sooo excited! Everything is up and blooming so quickly! Spring is my favorite!
The rhododendron you got is gorgeous! 🌸
hi steph, great video. i need to go to lowe's quick. they have some beautiful plants. love all the plants you showed, i hope mine will have them. thank you for sharing. and i hope you have a great weekend!
I have a neighbor who has a 2nd floor window that looks right into my backyard. Im thinking of planting a Newport Plum, Super Princess Dogwood or something like those two that will grow fast & block their view. Any recommendations?
Steph, I’m in CT and my calla lilies come back as long as I throw a bag of mulch over them in winters. Dahlias, too. No problem.
I have a "woodland" garden along thet edge of my backyard. I have the checklist…shade/part shade, understory, deer and rabbit (and groundhog and chipmunk and mole and skunk and o'possum and squirrel) resistent, but the final box I need to tick is juglone tolerant. It's a challenge for sure!
Love shopping with you 🌿🪴
Hi I am 8 and have a gardening channel with my dad. I just started to watch you, that was a good video, we buy lots of plants at lowes. Bye!
I love all your videos but especially enjoy your videos at Lowe's and Home Depot. They really help me learn my plant varieties. I lived in Zone 10 in Florida for 40 years and felt like an expert gardener there, then we moved to Michigan about five years ago and I knew nothing. Watching and learning from your videos has been a boon to my Zone 6a gardening knowledge. Thanks so much!
I love the Heuchera and heucharellas and tiarellas but the catching fire did not come back for me. The dolce wild berry seemed to come back and it’s looking good here in zone 7b. I like those speckled calla Lillie’s but I’m not sure also if it will return for me . The canna Lillie’s for sure return and multiply like crazy . Your Lowe’s has a lot more nice perennials. Thanks for the tour.
I wish our Lowes and Homedepot were like yours not even close the variety is good and the amount of proven Winners is very good ours use to be better than what it is now but what really stands out to me is the prices of your plants are so cheap compared to mine ,Monrovia is based in my state CA so you would think they would be cheaper here that’s ok they know we will pay it 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for sharing 🤗
Those little bags of lime & soil acidifier are convenient, but way too expensive compared to a 40-50lb bag of lime, a 40lb bag of gypsum (which has become way more expensive the past couple of years if you can't catch them on clearance) & a 50lb bag of 90-99% sulfur prills. FYI soil acidifer products are nothing but approx 4 parts pelletized gypsum, 1 part 90% sulfur prills.
Your overview of all the garden goodies is superb, as usual. You impart just the amount of knowledge of each plant we need to make good choices. Thanks Steph, great job!
Ill have to check Lowes out up here in Ontario. I love Proven Winners
Steph, I scored big time yesterday at Lowe’s discount racks. You were right when you said they move plants to the racks when they get a new delivery. Wow these plants were beautiful!
Are there any Hosts that’s full sun? Can you make a video on full sunlight ..perennial s
Question about the PW petunia. Can you divide the quart size pots into multiple plants? Thank you
Several coral bells and hostas and other shade plants will now say full sun, but they are definitely not full sun
My Calla lilies have come back for years. I’m in 7B almost 8A
Once again, thank you Steph! I went to Lowe's and got the beautiful cream color Mandevilla (and pink too). Love them. They're gracing the dining room table for now. Please can it warm up soon!!??!!!
Hi Steph, Love these going to check some out! Thank you for sharing! I love when you show us what they have! Have a great weekend!!
Just so many cracking plants and wonderful choices for both sun and shade 🤗
