I don't use reddit but I'm pretty desperate rn.
My neighbours are horrible people. To cut a long story short things got real bad and they had the police called on them twice. Once by us and the other was by their other neighbour. They clearly think it was us both times (they have no evidence we did it either time- but we've had past beef bc we don't tolerate their shit- they never get punished either btw, be it by the housing, cps or the police. Been dealing with them for a decade now) and they've retaliated by killing our plants outside our front door and now they've reached over our fence (private fence btw) and sawn the whole tree in half. (Last time something like this happened they just messed with our car and threw poisonous food to cats/dogs into our garden so I guess this is better but I loved that bloody tree)
They didn't ask, they didn't say, the tree wasn't on their side nor did it hang over at all (despite their plants coming over to our side) I've watched this baby grow for so long and protected it the best I could despite everything ("compost pile" was put on top of it and a structure built next to it but it was doing so good)
It's a field maple. Is my tree going to be OK? Is there anything I can do to save it? I know it's futile but please tell me there's a way for me to reattach it or something.
(The tree was thrown over the back of the fence into the alleyway and I managed to drag it back over and that's it in front of its stump ðŸ˜)
