   I don’t know the variety name specifically, but it’s bearded iris — great color!

   You might just want to go ask the home owner if you can have a chunk of them at the end of summer. You have to thin bearded iris every few years anyway and that way you can be sure to get that color.

   If you are US based — check out Schreiner’s for a whoooooole lot of varieties of bearded iris to chose from! Careful… it’s addicting.
