I had 'em. I had them on deliciosa, adansonii, esqueleto and standleyana.
I also had endless fungus gnats, poles that dries out then rotted roots, moss mess everywhere, overwatered bottom pots, mess mess mess!

I am not against them. I love looking at everyone else's. But they aren't worth it to me. Here's a deliciosa I grew without a mosspole. I tied it to a 1" stick. Done.

It started as a 2 leaf pup in another plant. It was way smaller than the pup in the pictures. In about 18 months I grew it from a pup to this. The newest leaf is 21" and still growing.
Heck, I live above 45° N and have below freezing outside temps about 5 months a year. The next leaf is starting.

This plant has never lost a leaf. I wont be needing a mosspole for it. Ya I'm flexing, but wouldn't you? Shes been good to me.
