My curb drain has a lot of dirt at the end of it. I suspect this means it’s pretty full through out the whole stretch.

Do I clean it out, if so how? Or do I just dig it up and put in a new one?

Stop dumping your water in the street. It should be draining my on your own property to absorb.

Just did a deep dive on similar situation. Progressively more aggressive tactics is best. Start with a device that attaches to your garden hose, is inserted in upper end, expands to seal the pipe like a heavy duty balloon and then shoots pressure down the pipe once it can’t expand any more. If that doesn’t work, try snaking with a rental snake, last step is a snake with root cutters. Interim step is a pipe camera to see. If the pipe is clay and compromised by roots you may have to dig it up and replace it. Mine was wrecked and collapsed by what seems to have been a heavy truck on the lawn. I abandoned it as it was 75 feet and I was too lazy to dig it up.

Mine run 30ft to the curb and I used a leaf blower on high

May have root from that tree

  7. That’s illegal in my county. You would have to use a pop up before the curb. You wouldn’t be allowed to cut the curb.
