Dunnes are selling really nice looking Callistemon trees, but would love to know if these will be hardy enough for Irish weather?
Would this be a waste of 30 quid if I planted this in a pot?

I have two huge ones in front of my house that we recently bought. They just started blooming again. I live in Wicklow where the weather is just a bit cooler as well and they are doing just fine. Not sure about the pot situation tho.

Bought one 60 minutes ago. Had one growing in the garden of my last house. Did incredibly well in a tiny no-direct-sunlight yard.
Calistemon rigidus is very hardy I’ve seen a whole row of these. They can take drought and flood as well, mine complete dried out completely in summer (it was root bound) but grew back all the leaves right after watering
Planted one in a pot 30 years ago in dublin and it’s still going.
