We received this fiddle leaf fig about six months ago. We transplanted it to a new pot, and it struggled, losing about 80% of its leaves. It sits in a corner with about two to three hours of direct sunlight as the sun goes up, and then it has indirect sunlight for the remainder of the day. There are lots of windows in the room.
I've watched all the YouTube videos. I can't bring myself to cut it down. It seems to be root-bound now and stabilized, but we're not seeing new leaves. What's the verdict? Open to thoughts and suggestions. We're committed to bringing it back. Should we cut it down and try out the fiddle leaf fig plant food? Thoughts and advice welcome. Thank you! 🙏
