A Gardening Galore event is set to return to Rookley on the Isle of Wight.

The much-loved event, organised by Rookley Village Association, will be held on Sunday, May 3, from 10am until 3pm.

Taking place at Rookley Village Hall and Sports Field on Highwood Lane, Gardening Galore brings together a variety of plant nurseries, specialist growers, and gardening suppliers from across the Island.

The event is free to enter, with adjacent parking available for all visitors.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of plants, flowers, shrubs, and gardening essentials on offer, as well as expert advice and unique plants.

Refreshments will be served inside the hall, including homemade cakes prepared by the Rookley Women’s Institute.

There will also be a burger van and an ice cream van.

The event has become a firm favourite within the community and continues to grow in popularity year after year.

Now in its third decade, the event has established itself as a highlight of the Isle of Wight’s horticultural calendar.

The event will also be collecting donations for the Rookley Village Association throughout the day.
