I've had the bottom plant underneath my pothos for about 3 weeks now and I've noticed some leaves on my pothos are turning white similar to the bottom plant, my sister says leafy plants will do that if they're close. Has anyone had this happen? Should I move them apart or is it perfectly okay for this to happen?

LOL no plants can’t share variegation by being close. Variegation is in the genetics of a plant- that’d be like saying someone was going to ‘catch’ another’s hair color by being in close proximity.
It is likely the pothos was not receiving enough light and thus appeared to be a jade pothos. Now that it may be receiving more light, it may show it’s variegation pattern (which is likely golden pothos as they’re more common to revert). A golden pothos can throw variegation from a very pale creamy almost white color, to bold bright yellow colors. The more light, the more clear the color will be!
