Hope Garden Club plant sale returns this spring

Gardeners and plant lovers will have plenty to look forward to this spring as the Hope Garden Club hosts its annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Please note the new location is Grace Baptist Church, located at 949 Third Avenue in Hope.

Shoppers can expect to find an impressive selection including perennials, annuals, berries, grasses, sedums, houseplants, seeds, herbs, veggies and fruit and garden art, along with other gardening treasures. Whether you are filling a new garden bed, refreshing containers, or searching for a unique piece of garden décor, the sale offers something for everyone.

Once again the sale is by donation only — cash please!

Proceeds from the sale will support Shxweli’s te Ts’qo’:ls – Spirit of Hope Secondary School’s 2026 Bursary, helping a local student pursue their educational goals.

For more information about the plant sale, residents can contact Lorraine Johnson at 604‑869‑7037 or April Wilding at 604‑869‑0128. If you would like to donate potted, labelled plants, please bring them to the church hall on Friday, May 1, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The Hope Garden Club encourages the public to come early, enjoy the selection, and support both local gardening efforts and a meaningful cause.
