Best in Bloom contest to highlight View Royal’s top gardens

View Royal is inviting residents to show off their colourful flowers, well-manicured lawns and tip-top topiary this month.
Nominations are now open for the town’s Best in Bloom contest, which, every year, celebrates local gardens that stand out – from lush lawns and blooming flower beds to unique landscaping and eye-catching designs.
“Whether it’s a front yard full of flowers, a thoughtfully designed garden or a space that simply makes you smile, we want to see how View Royal is in bloom,” the town said in a news release.
Once nominations close at the end of the day on May 1, residents will be invited to vote for their favourite gardens to help select this year’s winner.
Council will crown a second winner for its top choice.
Victors will receive a $50 gift card and year-long bragging rights.
