I’m wondering if I should go pick this one up, I’ve never had one. Is it worth the 1hr drive? It has some brown spots but it looks solid. Thank you in advance

Aww, this is almost like a cactus rescue. Mom’s probably retiring and hitting the road or unable to continue to care for it for some reason

Great deal. Pot alone is probably $50 plus- retail

  3. Are you capable of providing this with adequate care?

Milk trees are fantastic and this one is HUGE! I’ve had mine for about 10 years now and it’s not even close to this size.

Just a warning that the sap is toxic and should be avoided

    Thats a $1.37 a year….not bad at all

For the size, its a good deal, but whether you can get that home in one piece, and without covering yourself in its highly toxic sap, is another question.

Be careful transporting it – these have a milky sap that will ooze or shoot out if any of the limbs bend or snap. It will irritate skin and you do not want it getting in. Your eyes.

It’s a good deal and I love the look of these but do not get it if you have kids or pets! I got rid of mine after having a kid, just didn’t want to deal with having a highly toxic spikey plant around him. Mind you I have plenty of other succulents and cacti but the size was part of the issue.
