hello everyone, this is my first hoya, it is a variegated heuschkeliana. i've repotted her into well draining soil and put her in a south facing window.
i'm just wondering: when do you tell it's time for a drink? i take care of succulents as well and with them it's really obvious when they're thirsty so 😅
i'm wondering how it is for hoyas, for my hoya in particular. does she like periods of drought? will she get visibly dull or wrinkly to tell me it's time to water her? do i follow a schedule? any advice appreciated. thank you!

You have yours in soil so I cannot answer that but in my experience the thrive and grow well in semihydro. I have mine in semihydro mix and life is so much easier with it (compared to other Hoyas I have in soil) since I see on the reservoir when I need to top up the water.
Not answer to your question but maybe worth thinking of when you plan to repot or similar😊
