I have made a new background for my viv out of foam and beige grout. I have dry brushed on some brown paint and a few patches of green to represent moss.
What could I do to make it look like an arid desert rock scape more?
For a leopard gecko by the way!

U can use aquarium silicone to glue moss to spots and or glue coco fiber to areas to make it look more natural. Maybe glue some branches cross ways coming out of the backround
Once u add plants and substrate and hides it will look much better
