April 24 was the start of set up for this years Garden Expo, hosted by the Master Gardeners Association of Tippecanoe County (MGATC).
The event takes place Saturday, April 25 from 9a.m. until 3p.m. at the Tippecanoe County fairgrounds.
You’ll be able to find plants, gardening supplies, decorations, and information. There will be a weed identification booth and an “ask a gardener” booth.
“If you have a garden, you want to come,” said Cheryl McCool, co-chairman of the Garden Expo.
This is the associations largest fundraiser of the year and proceeds support master garden projects in the area and garden education.
“We have a really good deal on plants, and a really good deal on garden shed stuff and desserts in the cafe,” said McCool. “We also have many vendors that come and sell their products and they are wonderful vendors, there’s all kinds of different things for them to pick up.”
The Expo will be on, rain or shine. Admission is $2 for adults, free for anyone eighteen and under.
