Jalapeno plant, never had issues growing these (in fact they grow really well where I live, from past years) I am adequately watering it, I tried supporting it more and that didn't do anything, all the leaves are wilting, slowly, but they are. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong suddenly this year that I haven't had issues with in previous years. Full sun exposure as always, this is the second (or maybe third?) plant I have replaced and it still dies. Any help is appreciated Thanks!

Are you hardening them off before planting them out?

You haven’t hardened them off before putting them in full sun. When you look closely at the leafs you’ll see sunburn damage. When plants are grown indoor, they need to be hardened off by giving them shaded sunlight first or behind a window. Preferably start on a clouded day early on and see how the plant responds. This one is really struggling right now.

Since it’s already in the ground, try and give it some shade for the next couple of days and see how it perks back up.
