FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Humane Fort Wayne received a $25,000 donation on Friday.
The donation comes from the Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show.
Owner Becky Williamson and mascot Gnorm the Gnome presented the check.
Staff with the organization then volunteered at the animal shelter.
The animal shelter says the donation will go toward its mission.
Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show says the donation shows its commitment to supporting local causes and the well-being of the community’s pets.
The organization began its partnership with local nonprofit organizations in 2020 and has donated over $110,000 in the past five years.
