I took a few of my my blackberry canes from my 3 year old plant and plunged them into some pots near the end of last season. I'm proud to say they're looking great and are gonna go into the ground as soon as the nights warm up a little more in Northern Nevada. My plan is to let one of them run wild without pruning (and on the other side of the yard) to see how a wild Natchez Blackberry will grow without major care aside from watering and feeding – no pruning for that one. And I am also trying my hand at Tayberries for the first time! I bought some little twigs of them from Penceberry Farms and have had them in their pots for roughly a week now. Where they had zero green initially, they look to be taking off just fine. The pics of the Tayberry plants are the little twigs with bright green foliage and the blackberry plants are the short guys with the dark green foliage. Happy gardening!
