Everyone talks about big, mature Monstera Thai Constellations… but honestly?
The tiny ones might be my favorite stage.
Something about those first few leaves — still small, still figuring themselves out — with that creamy variegation already showing up… it’s just ridiculously cute.
They haven’t gone full fenestration yet, no massive leaves… just compact, perfect little patterns that feel almost too detailed for their size.
And watching them grow from this stage hits different — every new leaf feels like a level-up:
Will it get bigger?
More variegation?
First split incoming? 👀
Curious what you guys think:
Do you prefer them big and dramatic… or small and adorable like this?
Because I’m starting to think the baby phase might be underrated 🌱

I want one…… I can’t find them in my local nurseries. I find them, too big. I wanna start small.
I love mine. Got it as a baby back in August from Lowe’s as my first monstera ever and watching it grow has been so fulfilling. I had to learn everything since I had zero experience with plants outside of aquatic plants and she’s been very patient with me lol.
My thais baby photo 🥺 such a wee sprout

To make sure we care for them, the same as all babies. We just can’t get past the “Awww” factor. 🤣😋
