Today, I put my Wine Cap Spore into my grow bags, outside. Tons of Hardwood chps and some straw.
My family and i want to start growing Shiitake. A little worried since we live in Texas, but it it an el Nino year so hopefully we can keep it damp enough to get them to fruit.
My biggest anxiety around mushrooms is accidentally growing a poisonous look-a-like. Would be interested in a video showing us why these particular mushrooms can't be confused with other poisonous mushrooms.
I have never ever heard that pronouciation of "fungi"

Several breeds of mushrooms are becoming invasive because they grow so easily. Blue oysters also can kill the trees they are planted next to.
Thanks for the video! I planted wine caps in our yard about five years ago. I still see them come up, but we've yet to get to them before the wildlife do!! 🤣 I'm adding blue oysters this year. Hoping critters don't like them as much, so we actually get to eat some. 😂 Just ordered a boomer bin with lions mane kit. Can't wait til it all arrives!!
