Firefighters were called to a garden fire in York last night (Thursday).
It happened at 10.14pm on Hudson Crescent.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Acomb responded to reports of a tree on fire in a gardening.
“On arrival crews found a garden fire measuring approximately 5m by 5m that had spread to the surrounding trees and fence. Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish.”
