Okay so this is only my second year doing the gardening thing! Actually last year I posted some pictures asking if they were strawberries and someone definitely let me know they were weeds! So in advance any help is appreciated 🙂 . It's been very cold here , I hear that pepper seeds won't germinate in the cold. However I do have some starting to come up. Should I get my little hopes up and try to Baby them or no?

Doesn’t hurt to baby them even if they are weeds! I do think they’re peppers tho.

Keep them indoors until it gets warmer. If you don’t have a heating mat, stick it on top of a heating vent.

That picture is kind of crappy! But I can see the seed and I’m about 99% sure that they are peppers . I’ve been taking the containers in the garage when it gets super cold.

I hear patience is a virtue when it comes to Peppers but I am lacking there. Do you think that moving them in the garage when it’s cold is just a bad idea? Because most days it’s like 75° , but a couple days it’s dropped.

For starters, seeds don’t germinate well in mulch. Get yourself a nice potting mix and sift it or get a seed starting mix. You want fine particulate to start seeds in. What zone are you in and how long is your growing season?
