Burpee sent me these labeled as “Purple sprouting broccoli” but when I germinated a few, they are obviously not broccoli. Did this happen to anyone else this year ordering this variety from them?

Also any help on figuring out what exactly it is? My hunch is dill.

It seems to be occurring with others. Contact Burpee for the real seeds.

Wrong leaf structure for dill. If you rub a leaf is there any particular fragrance? Do you remember what size the seeds were?

Ive never received the wrong seeds from burpee, but this clearly isn’t broccoli.

Looks like leggy dill. Something in that family ?

They also have a new variety of parsley that also looks similar. Broccoli seeds are almost always black or brown tiny balls.

Burpee did the same to me last year. I got cucumbers instead of okra. Did not realize it until after they came up and started vining. I just let them be. I had lots of cucumbers in 2025.
