Aldi is introducing new gardenware to stores this week

Outdoor lighting is an ideal way to upgrade your garden and not only does it mean you can enjoy longer spring evenings with extra light – opting for a pretty lantern style can mean extra décor in the daytime too.
With spring here, there are plenty of outdoor lighting options on the high street to choose from including at Aldi where the SpecialBuy section of the store is set to introduce a host of garden items. There will be garden and balcony furniture, sun catchers, planters, lights and water features.
The ‘Marrakesh Garden’ collection will be coming to stores on April 23.
Within it shoppers will find Aldi’s Solar Marrakesh Lanterns, which are £11.99 each.

The round lanterns, from the Garden Bright brand, come in two colours – brass with gold, or copper with gold.
They feature intricately designed patterns which are said to “add a touch of Marrakesh charm to your space” as well as casting a “beautiful glow”.
The solar powered lanterns come with a white LED and one AA battery.
The lights have an on/off switch and a handle at the top.
Also coming to stores this week are the Star Solar Lanterns which are £8.99 and come in three designs – Firefly, Flame or LED.
The copper-coloured lanterns feature a star shaped base and top with a handle and small solar panel.
Aldi describes the lights as creating “a captivating display with a radiant star-shaped glow that charges by day and shines bright after dark.”
The lights are said to be perfect for bringing ambient lighting to your patio, decking and garden tables.
