




Hey all, thanks for all of your comments and advice on my last post. I up potted & lightly fertilized with fish emulsion, and they are taking off! (swipe for the before – this is 4/5 days later)
The seed leaves, I think, are permanently a little deformed & still slightly pale, but they’re not falling off and the rest of the plant looks well.
My only issue right now is slight purple stems & underside of leaf but I’m chalking that up to nutrient deficiency. (It’s not too cold in my room, soil temp is 22-23 deg celsius)

The purple undersides are common for indoor starts. It shows up with some varieties more than others. I wouldn’t worry about it. They will green up once they are outside as you start to harden them off. But it does mean you may want to ease hardening them off to full sun and not rush it.
