Hello friends 🤍

Today was one of those slow, full kind of days out in the garden. We started with big plans… laying mulch around the marigolds out front… but like most real-life days, things didn’t go exactly as planned.

After Easter festivities and mowing the yard, we were worn out… so we shifted gears and just did what we could. A little more ground cover out back, a little time in the garden, and a whole lot of memories made along the way.

We also stopped by Roper’s Market and picked up some onion bulbs and tators, hoping to get them in the ground Monday… Lord willing and the creek don’t rise 🌿

And the best part of all? My sweet little helpers, Adalind and Hayden, right there beside us. They make the work slower… but so much sweeter.

Oh—and we even found surprise tator plants already growing from last year. Just a little reminder that growth doesn’t always need our permission… sometimes it just shows up anyway.

If you’re in a season where you’re doing what you can… that’s enough 🤍

Thanks for being here, friends.
