Hello people!

I have had my maranta at work for a year now andwas doing extra well in those conditions (watering and light)

I left for 2 weeks and usually she tolerate a bit of negligence/under watering but I guess it's been hotter than usual and I came back to this Monday.

I gave her a bath and hoped she would get better but we are Thursday and nothing changed. Would you wait? Cut everything? If yes, where?

Edit : by bath I mean I watered from bellow until the soil is wet. And it's still wet today.

Thank you so much!!!

Shes really thirsty. Those leaves curling up and few brown is a clear sign of it.

I’m not sure she’ll fully recover without a full chop-n-prop 😢 BUT, I’ve brought plants back from worse conditions! If there’s no drainage holes in the pot, or if the soil level is low, then just go straight to chop. If not, try this: Remove dead/brown leaves & very curled in ones, cut at base of stems. Move growth on top of shelf, like, don’t leave it hanging off. If the leaves start to unfurl in next few days then there’s hope, if not chop off here and put cuttings in water 🤗
