Hello! I’m starting some dahlias inside this year and it’s my first time trying to do so. Some of these are new tubers and some are from last year, and I unfortunately forgot to mark the varieties. I’ve got 1 tuber that is an absolutely happy camper and putting out leaves like crazy, but I’ve got two others with sprouts that haven’t grown one bit since the day I put them in pots (they’ve been potted for about 3ish weeks). Any thoughts on why, or should I not worry about it and just see what they do? For context, I’ve been trying not to over-water them so I’ve only been giving them a drink when they’re thoroughly dry. I’ve also got them in an east facing window that gets decent morning light, I thought about moving them to a larger west facing window that gets lots of hot evening light but I wasn’t sure if that would cook them a bit. Thanks in advance!!

This is an automatic reminder regarding r/dahlias Rule 3:
When reasonable*, posters should make a good-faith effort to identify which variety/varieties are shown in their photo(s). If you don’t know for certain, please say so. Someone will usually know!
*Common-sense exceptions to this rule will be honored, such as if the photo does not contain a blossom, or if your photo contains large volumes (such as in wide field shots).
If you’ve already done this, thank you! No further action required.
If not, please add a reply to this comment and confirm if you know the name of your dahlia variety/varieties shown in the photo(s). Alternately, if you’re uncertain of the variety name(s), it’s ok to say that, too.
