LET ME RANT 💔

i come home, i see ants swarming this ech in the second photo and then i think to myself "oh why could that be", shake them off, lo and behold, FUCKING mealybugs. not only did these people give me two plants that died out of nowhere, but now i realise THREE of these little shits have MEALYBUGS 😭 in my five years i've only dealt with mealies on my senecio barbertonicus ONCE.

THE ECH HAD MINI ROUND MEALYBUG LOOKING THINGS IN THE SOIL 😭 no wonder the leaves looked so wonky 😭 how in god's green earth am i supposed to get into those crevices?

and i have no idea what was going on with the base of the fourth guy. looks like corking but also as if it was absorbing itself at the same time, so i snipped it just in case.

moral of the story: if anyone offers you 11 plants for 400 inr (like 4 usd), please turn the other way and run 💔
