No photo from when I first noticed around 1PM today (just a tiny bit of green peeking out of an unbroken areole) but a pup is rapidly emerging from my TMB-B and I was able to track its emergence over the course of about 8 hours. These bad boys really grow fast with enough light and water!

Admittedly it’s probably splitting a bit unnaturally from swelling since I doused it yesterday; we just had the first few sunny days of spring and I watered for the first time in a couple weeks. Still new to these cacti!

Two new fat pups which I think is impressive since it’s been sitting in the windowsill since I received the plant last fall! One pup popped out and grew fully during winter – it was getting quite shrivelly so I watered it (probably incorrectly) but within less than a week the pup had grown in.
