These golden Enoki mushrooms were thriving in the freezing spring temperatures of Maine.
We buried 12 Plant & Grow mushroom starter blocks in topsoil and the MycoSphere garden bed provided a little protection with greenhouse plastic. Enoki mushrooms are incredibly cold-hardy and even produce a slime that acts as a natural antifreeze.
