


She was given to me a few weeks ago, growing in just water with a bit goopy tangle of roots. I planted her in soil and added a makeshift stake (I’m going to redo it today with an actual stake, don’t judge me lol).
She’s hanging in there, but the leaves on the left are getting more pale and crusty :/ the crust on the bigger leaf was there when I got her, same with the white-ish residue on the stems.
What can I do to help her heal? Is there hope? This is my first begonia so I don’t really know what I’m doing.

You have to plant it into an actual pot with a drainage hole with decent soil.
I have mine in self watering pots and for substrate I use coco choir/fluval/perlite. They are thriving and have amazing root growth
