Hi all!

I got this begonia just shy of a year ago. She was a gorgeous flowering shrub full of leaves, but the moment I brought her home, she started to shrivel. I heard begonias don’t like change, so I left her for a while – then shifted her somewhere sunnier.

I’ve watered her regularly, and kept her in a spot where she gets morning sun, and afternoon shade. However, she has only continued to shrivel.

Does anybody know what I’m doing wrong? I’m fairly new to pot plants.

Thanks!

i would check out her roots & soil.

the soil from the picture looks like it’s not holding any moisture. & that also means it has no nutrients for the poor plant..

also i’ve come to find out through trial & error that keeping the dead leaves & other dead organic stuff still in the pot actually does a lot of harm than good.

i would give her new soil, & a good hair cut. & if you use the same pot, make sure to wash really well!! 🙂 i also recommend buying clear nursery pots from amazon, you’ll be able to see a lot more without having to repot each time.

    happy planting!! 💗🥰
