Quarantining new plants and animals is such a big deal in the aquarium hobby, im surprised it’s not the standard for houseplants as well. It’s so easy to repot, couple rounds of pest prophylaxis, then throw them in a bin for 2 weeks. I understand that it’s probably not worth the effort for people with small collections, but establishing a quarantine process can save you a lot of time, money, and heartache down the road
