I last watered this Hoya australis Lisa 2 weeks ago and it did NOT have this long side stem on it. It only had the one original stem. Honestly, I haven’t even looked at this plant since I last watered it. It’s kept in my moms room, in her windowsill, covered by a curtain so not even my mom sees it lol
I’m assuming these new leaves are sun stressed? I have other Hoyas in a different window (but faces the same direction) and none of them have sun stressed like this. If it’s not sun stressed…what is wrong with it??

New leaves just haven’t hardened off yet. It’s sending up a tendril looking for something to climb, give it a trellis 🙂
Yep, looks good. Some of the hoyas with more variegation in the leaves can tend to get more colour when they stress comparative to those with full green. That may be why it seems soo different than the others.
Another good example of this is a carnosa crimson queen.
It’s perfect!!
Yes. Why wouldn’t it be?
