About my garden and me as a “gardener”:
My own garden is located in southern Finland. During the summer months, starting from May at the earliest and ending in September at the latest, the daytime temperature typically varies between 10 to 30 degrees Celsius. During the winter months, starting from October at the earliest and ending in April at the latest, the daytime temperature typically varies from 10 degrees above zero to -20 degrees below zero.
The size of my own garden is approximately 1000 square meters. It is located on flat land and the soil is mainly quite hard clay. The plot and the main building originally date back to the 1940s, before which the entire detached house area where our plot is located was an old swamp field. As a “gardener” myself, I am a complete amateur, meaning that I have no training in the field whatsoever, instead I have taught myself what ever I’ve needed and will continue to do so in the future.
