  1. Linda, these design secrets are a game-changer. I’ve been applying some of these and will continue to in my tropical garden here in Guyana. It’s amazing how well these principles work even with exotic plants!

  2. Thank you!!!! I'm almost done designing my flower bed around my oak . It's HUGE…. I just needed one more group of 3s for the middle. This was very helpful

  3. Everything is looking so beautiful Linda. I know this Spring was hard on you guys down there but the garden has certainly recovered.

  4. Hi Linda, I came in for a break and was pleased to see you. Had a video up to have a cup of coffee and rest my back for a bit. I think this video was a really good reminder for all of us to get back to the deconstructing the garden and how we’re putting it together. By now, so many of us have purchased numerous things at the garden stores and it’s a little overwhelming so bringing us back to this really helps. Have a great rest of the day.

  5. I have a long but narrow balcony garden and I will certainly use some of these tips. Thank you 🥰

  6. Hey Linda, I was wondering if you would show me/us how you style your hair. I try to get the look but not able to get it right. Appreciate all you teach and share with us.

  7. Tu casa PRECIOSA!! de ensueños como mágica!
Se ve preciosa con todo esos árboles y flores…con ese color …el techo
🙏✨🌿 Bendiciones mil para todos 🦋🌸🎻

  8. It's the first time I have noticed that you don't grow lavender. I wonder why? it's a big part of my garden in both the formal garden in the back and the modern garden in the front. Here in Utah we commonly find and grow Hidcote, Munstead and Thumbellina .

  9. Oh Linda! The garden is beginning to look lusciously lush; always my favorite tableau from your beautiful garden. 🥰🥰

  10. Have you considered painting white or doing German smear on outside bricks of your house? This would really make an English cottage statement.

  11. This was a great video! A different way of looking at the weight and shape of the flowers and anchors. The colors in this episode were exceptional! Your gardens have always been my Youtube favorites!!

  12. Thank you so much for all the info! I did indeed screenshot many of the pictures and the information of the five different categories. It’s funny because this is exactly what I’ve been working on in one of my flowerbeds that’s a little bit busy. And to remedy this, I think I added what you would call a structural or stabilizer plant and that plant is euonymus green spire. I’m in California 9B. I’m wondering if I should make it into a topiary “ball” like you have done which looks so nice or just leave it and let it grow naturally to stabilize my more frilly and airy plants, would you call ‘ hovering ‘ plants. I really need to incorporate more formal structure since I have mostly ‘hovering’ plants in my garden, which I realized after your presentation! Thank you again!

  13. Hi Linda,
Great tips to a romantic garden! I am in zone 9b Redding CA. My stabilizers have been my Vignettes through out my garden. Statuary, bird baths, and water features. I have several micro climates from shade to scorching hot sun. I am a Master Gardener and I do presentations in our community. I would love to share your channel to my MG group and would like to share these tips at a presentation or MG workshop! Of course I can tweak it to cater to our zone and show examples of each category that I use in my garden. What do you think?
