Repotted this Japanese Maple a few weeks ago and it’s really showing some vigour. I’ve had this tree for over 15 years and really built some decent ramification and it was in good shape, but the last couple of years it’s been somewhat neglected, needed repotting and didn’t keep up with pruning and suffered a little die back.
I’m hoping a couple of years of TLC will get this tree back to some kind of decent shape.
The trunk is quite large at the base and is 10inch circumference above the nebari.
And I’m also terrible at taking pictures of bonsai, this was a quick pic from earlier today.
