I love this giant tree. It gives me tons of shade and looks great, but as you can see in the photos, the main trunk is starting to show some serious looking damage and some of the exposed wood (where the bark is missing) is soft to the touch.
I have reached out to a few local arborists and will hopefully have someone out soon, but wanted to throw this to the reddit to see what everyone thinks.. how cooked am I?
